After working in an award-winning salon for over 12 years and achieving my Level 3 Hairdressing qualification, I continued to develop my skills by attending advanced training courses in London, learning from some of the industry’s leading stylists.

When I became a mum to my two daughters, I decided to become self-employed, giving me the flexibility to balance family life while continuing to do the job I love.

I began by visiting clients in their homes as a mobile hairdresser, building a loyal client base across Essex and the surrounding areas. Four years later, after moving house, I was able to create my own dedicated salon space – Amy Ferris Hair.

My purpose-built home salon has been designed to provide a professional yet relaxed environment where clients can enjoy one-to-one appointments and leave feeling their absolute best.

I specialise in all aspects of colouring, with blondes being a particular passion of mine. I work with Schwarzkopf Professional colours and use a range of premium styling products, including Schwarzkopf and Color Wow, to help achieve beautiful, long-lasting results.
